
The Scottish Curling Trust is a charity registered in Scotland SC038043. It is a company limited by guarantee (SC312146) with the purposes laid down in its Memorandum and Articles namely:
(a) to encourage and actively promote public participation;
(b) to provide training, coaching and education not only for those participating in sport but also the public generally about sport generally and Curling in particular and the benefits of participating in sport;
(c) to preserve, conserve, interpret and display the arts, heritage and culture of the sport of Curling;
(d) to provide or assist in the provision of recreational facilities, or to organise or assist in the organisation of recreational facilities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the public generally; and
(e) to make provision for disabled people and those who are impaired or have special needs to introduce them to and assist them in their enjoyment of sport.
